Hello,
So my professor said they will write me a LoR, and they said they would email it or mail it to me. Im confused because if they emailed it to me how would I put this on interfolio or ADSAS? I thought I give them a link so it saves on that or something. But if they email it to me then I can see if it is a good LoR or just mediocre. Then can I put that on interfolio. So now that I have given you the information how would I do this.
Thanks Folks.

AASDAS sends a link for them to upload electronically, or you give them a paper to send in the mail. You can always ask for a copy too.
what about interfolio man

You have to
1) make an Interfolio account Dossier
2) request recommendation in your dossier (insert professor's email). He/she will receive an email titled Interfolio...(something)
3) professor makes an account
4) professor uploads recommendation and you will get notified via email

Your professor can also update/replace your letter of recommendation, but you won't get notified

Make sure your letter has a letterhead and signature!

So the professor needs to make an account too? I thought they could just put it a link that I sent? Then how do I send in to ADSAS, and how long can I store the LoR for?
Thanks

The link that you sent still requires them to make an account

When sending to AADSAS, in your application you have to add the evaluators as 'paper'. If you put 'electronic' it sends them a link.

On Interfolio you add the recommendation along with its matching form. Your delivery should total 8 documents.

You can store LOR's as long as you pay for +5 years I think before they take it off their system

So to be clear the only advantage Interfolio provides over doing it directly from the application is that you get to keep the letter?

Do you know if AADSAS requires the writer to "sign up" for anything if they do it electronically?

Matching form, 8 documents? Paper? Can you be more specific so I dont have to keep bothering you lol. So I sign up, then what do I do. Then they get a link and they sign up and link the LoR in my account? Then paper, 8 documents, confusion??
Hey if you can just do a step by step, and be very detailed lol., please!

Evaluation = Recommendation
8. Upload your LOE matching forms to Interfolio (get them from your AADSAS account). You can fill them out yourself, as they don't require a signature.

Hey,
What is a matching form? Then it says fill my own LoR??? Im confused.

Say if you sent your LoR/LoE right now to AADSAS, they won't know who it belongs to because there are many other OSUkids. A matching form has your AADSAS ID and your LoR information to match with. Sending both together helps AADSAS see which LoE belongs to whom.

When you click the Orange printer button in your AADSAS (next to your Evaluator), then you print it out and fill it out yourself.
