So I am currently trying to apply this cycle for dental school. However, I only have two LORs (one from a dentist and one from an employer). I did have my biochem professor write me one but she's currently on vacation and not replying to my emails. Is there still a point in me applying? My DAT scores are pretty good and I have a decent GPA with a large amount of shadowing hours. This is the only thing holding me back from applying.

You can e-submit your app to start the process of GPA verification and mail-out. LOR will be updated as AADSAS receives them, even after e-submit. Do you know when professor will be back from vacation? If they are back soon you will be fine.

Not at all. I'm still not sure where this widespread conspiracy that if you don't apply by June 1st you won't get in started. Hell, I know a kid at a certain east coast school with decent stats who got into school and he applied on literally the last day.

Submit your app, get the letters in as soon as you can.
