Question about your Genetics and Philosophy letter:
Did you have any in-depth convo or outside of class interaction (e.g. research, club meetings, faculty-student mentorship) with any of these professors? Especially for Professor #3, I wonder what he would talk about in the letter if he didn't ask you for a copy of your CV or personal statement.

I did talk to my philosophy professor about graduate school and provided him with a CV and statement when I applied for that. I get the impression that he is very busy and I needed to push him a lot to submit the LOR for my graduate program on time. However, I don't have any other significant interactions with him like research, mentorship, etc. With the genetics prof, I had a brief 30 minute conversation with him about our spring breaks, but nothing more significant than that.

Do you think I should go ahead and ask the genetics prof for the LOR? Is a letter in which the prof just talks about how I did well in a difficult and highly interactive class okay, even if he doesn't know me well personally?

For the record, my LORs from research and my leadership position will likely be very strong.
Here's my $0.02: If you didn't have extensive out-of-class interaction with the professor, AND he didn't ask you for your CV/Personal Statement, do not expect the letter to be strong. It's likely going to be a generic letter.
