LOR ISSUE please help

Okay so i've been looking at the dental schools that I will apply to and they seem pretty similar as to what they want. My question is that is a letter from a research prof. that paid me considered a academic letter/science letter..or are they looking for profs that i had for lecture? May be a stupid question but i do not know.

I want to send in 5 LORS
1. Non sceince
2. science
1. shaddowing
1 research prof .

Do you guys think that is too much? I can have that research prof be one that is science, but i don't know if that could be considered an academic letter. I don't mind sending 5 but will the schools think i'm over-doing it?

you can send in as many as you want, but most schools say they prefer only 2-3, now will you be ejected for sending in extras? no... but are they going to read them in detail IF AT ALL because you out of the thousands of people that swamp the ADCOMS are special? NO.
