I have been getting some mixed advice from some of my peers regarding the my situation. I currently have my LOR's finished and my application will be ready to mail out on tuesday or wednesday this week.
I am currently on an away rotation and have been able to spend a few days (clinic and OR) with an ophthalmologist who is more prominent than the ones that I am currently getting LORs from. I have been able to make a really good impression and he pulled me aside yesterday to compliment my performance.
My question is: is it worth delaying my application even more than I already have in order to acquire a LOR from this doctor? Or should I just send my application out earlier with weaker LORs?
I really appreciate any advice at all. Thanks
