LOR question: Conflict if interest?

Hi All,
Curious as to what thoughts are, or if anyone has been in a similar situation. I work as a medical device rep and spend significant time at a major research hospital with relatively respected and well known surgeons with whom I’m close with and am considering asking for a LOR from. As they are major customers/ clients of mine, is there a conflict of interest here?

Even if it's not a conflict of interest, such letters aren't going to help at all.

I agree their letters are not useful. They only know you as a vendor, not a future provider. Find people to shadow properly.
