sorry had to open new thread but i have been posting this same question from past 3-4 days on like 3 different threads ...but no1 seems to reply back!i would really appreciate it if some1 could answer this question for me.

i already have 3 LORs but i am planning on getting 1 more at the end of summer for my another science prof requirement....does this mean that my application will count incomplete?

We cant answer this, it will depend on the schools you are applying to.
But AADSAS will send out your application to the schools if you have everything else turned in and paid your fees.

Best bet would be to have that 4th letter mailed directly to the schools.

Definitely talk to the schools, but I can tell you from experience that the later you get an LOR submitted the more it'll hurt. One of my letter writers took much longer than expected (I requested the letter in June and it wasn't submitted until September.) so I didn't get interviews until it was too late in the game especially for California schools. 😡

Tufts requires 1 from bio & 1 from chm/phy/math...i already have bio..but i need one more from chm/phy/math....i never talk to my phy prof...coz i really dont care about that class..i took math & gen chm classes at CC (i transfered from CC to UCF in fall 06) & i dont want to get another LOR from CC prof (coz my advisor says its better to get LOR from 4-yr college prof). I took ORg I last semester & got D (uhh!)M taking org II rite now & have a B but the prof is lil bit weird so dnt wnt him to write my LOR...so my only choice left is for summer when m repeating ORG I again..& thinking of getting LOR from her....

second option is to not apply @ TUFTS...coz tht is the only school which specifically says 1 bio & 1 chm/phy/math....what do you guys think?

1 more question....does a science major advisor count as a science prof?? she used to teach science classes but now she is just an advisor for molecular & microbiology major.

Random question with LORs (hopefully this makes sense)....with the new AADSAS restriction of 4 letters only, do you think it would be possible to have my four letters sent to AADSAS for my application (along with the LOR matching forms) which I am having sent 2 Biology, 1 Chem, and 1 Public Health professor AND then mail a 5th one to each of the schools I apply to individually? The reason being, I'm trying to cover all the bases with the different needs of LORs each school has with the initial 4 and the 5th is one from a dentist I shadowed which I want to use/need in some cases. Do you think this would be acceptable to send to the schools even if this letter doesn't contain a Official AADSAS LOR Matching form, but a cover letter I write up with my AADSAS application number and such....Any suggestions would be appreciated because me and my health adviser weren't sure what to do...Thanks!
