LOR question

Hey guys.. So I've been shadowing an oral surgeon for a while now and just now he told me he's also a professor at USC which is one of my choices for DS, he's also willing to write me a LOR, my question is since I will be applying to USC would that LOR stand out much more to my advantage as opposed to my others? Or it really doesn't make a difference?
