I just received my first LOR from my PI that I've been working with for about 1.5 years. When I checked interfolio it said that it was only 1 page. Should I be concerned? Is it more about quality than quantity? How important are LOR anyways given that the writer didn't comment any negative things about you?

Also, he's a super cool/easy going guy, but he forgets small details, unless if you remind me a couple of times. Since the letter is confidential, I can't see if he put it on a letterhead and his signature, but I attached it on interfolio the documents on how to do it. Basically, how should I word it so that he will allow me to read the letter? He said that he would let me and he doesn't really care when I talked to him in person, but that was about 2 months ago and my internship has ended since then.

Dw if its only 1 page.. That doesn't mean anything. Your Pre-med advisor is usually the filter that stops letters with negative stuff from being sent. Be like I wanna make sure its addressed to the correct school or something lol
