Do they have to be sent directly from the Evaluator to AADSAS?

I may have accidentally shot myself in the foot by asking them to send me the envelope, so I could send all my letters in at the same time.

All the envelopes are sealed by the professors... I have not looked at any, but I am wondering if AADSAS will take them, even though they are being sent from me, and not from the evaluators.

What should I do now?

If the envelopes have a matching form in them, or stapled to the envelope, and the seals are signed by the writers or the LORs then you could certainly put them all into a single big envelope and send it to AADSAS with proof of delivery (Fedex, DHL, UPS, courier). Make sure you send them in such a way that the matching form accompanies the LOR. AADSAS has approx 48K LORs floating around this time of year. Make it as easy as possible for them.

I only have one envelope in which the seal is signed by the professor. The other does not have a signed seal (its from a dentist, probably didnt know).

Ideally, the envelope seal will be signed by the author. If possible, stop by their office, throw yourself at the authors' feet, ask for the favor, and promise to name your first child in their honor. If this isn't possible then you'll need to wing it and send it to AADSAS with the matching form.

If the LOR has an envelope with a return address on it, this is also good. You get to redundantly identify your LOR with redundant labelling redundantly. This makes it harder to get lost in the AADSAS pile.

I did the same thing with 2 of my LORs- both were in signed, sealed white envelopes with the matching form paperclipped to them. I then put them both in one big manilla envelope and mailed them in. Nevertheless, AADSAS processed one about a week ago and the other is still PENDING!!! 😱 I called customer service and they put in a "research request" that has taken over a week... hopefully they didn't manage to lose the other letter that came in the SAME ENVELOPE!!! My advice would perhaps be to write on the back of the large envelope: contains MULTIPLE LORs!!! I don't know... I just hope your situation turns out better than mine... and that AADSAS finds my dang letter 😡

Good luck!
