First off, Hello! I am new to the board and really enjoy reading the posts here.. I am a general surgery PGY1 categorical for another subspecialty but I'm changing specialties. I am passionate about plastic surgery and therefore I have decided to apply again this year! Have not told current program just yet though!
So to my question. I have already submitted 3 LORs from plastic surgeons. I have two more that have kindly allowed me to view the letters. One is from a local plastic surgeon, says he's known me for a few months, thinks i'm committed, etc says that I'd be good but not much beef to it.
I have another from a PhD in anatomy who has known me for years, and really goes into detail about my reasons, committment, etc. It's the best letter and I can't even believe it's talking about me.
Which should I send??!!
