Hey Guys!

I'm a Research Assistant for a DDS/PhD/Assoc. Prof (among other degrees) and I am guaranteed a LOR from them. The research is clinical and lab based.

I was wondering if this LOR would count as a Dentist LOR?

If not, I'm assuming it would not be a prof letter since they teach at the Dental School and I have never been one of their students in a classroom setting. So what would it count as?

Thanks for any info. =)

most schools have only 3 requirements - 2 from professors, and 1 from a dentist. the professors are normally the ones you took classes with and the dentists are normally the ones you shadow or work for (in a dental setting). aadsas allows a 4th letter - this can be that - someone that is a research PI/mentor to you.
