LOR Question

So I submitted my application on Optomcas last month, and have been shadowing an optometrist that i'd like to get an additional LOR from. Since I can't submit this letter through optomcas at this point, and I would like it to get to three schools, I was wondering what the proper etiquette was for asking for it. Should I ask the optometrist to make three seperate letters for me? Is it at all acceptable to have the optometrist submit letters via email to the schools? (just asking b/c im afraid its going to be an annoyance for them to write up three seperate letters)

Yea sorry that was a mouthful, just not really sure what the right way to do this is.

Why do you need to send more letters? 4 LORs is already a lot to read for admissions. Unless the optometrist is involved with a specific school you want to go to.

Not for opt. but my friend applying to UCSF was sent a very mean email about not following directions... They do set rules for a reason.

I have only submitted 3 letters via optomcas, all of which were from science teachers I have had. I wanted to submit this fourth one from an optometrist to the schools im applying too.

Definitely submit it! They like the letters to be from various sources and I think it would strengthen your application! I think even though you have submitted you can still add another letter, not sure though. If not call the school and ask how they would like to to proceed.

you can still add LOR to your optomcas as long as you're under 4. I asked before so don't worry! The schools will just get an update of your LOR when its process.

O really?? I didnt realize you could add a new LOR after you have submitted your application, i thought everything just locked up. Thanks!
