LOR sent to schools

I have been getting on many of the dental school's web site and have noticed that many of them say to send them several LOR's. Is this only if you have not sent them through AADSAS or do you have to send letters to both the school and the college? It would seem redundant to have to send them out twice.

Send letters of recs to schools only if they will not be sent through AADSAS.

If I recall, there is one or two schools that ask for LORs to be sent directly to them. Look under the instructions and click on Secondary info...it will list everything there. I know UNLV asks for a letter from a dentist, but I called and they said if one of them was coming as a LOR from AADSAS, not to bother.

I actually sent them straight to the schools b/c I've heard tons of horror stories about letters getting lost last application cycle. But it seems that this year, it isn't much of a problem!

I mailed my letters to the same address as the fees. I'd definetely check afterwards though, to make sure they received everything.
