LOR Situation

Hey everyone,

I plan on apply to ~20 DO schools this upcoming cycle and have all of my LORs lined up (they already said yes).

1. Science Professor (PhD) / C ell Biology
2. Science Professor (PhD) / Organic Chemistry II
3. Non-science Professor (PhD) / Statistical Psychology
4. Research PI (PhD) / Summer Research Internship at a med school
5. DO LOR / Shadowed ~20 hrs

I am sure I have most of the DO schools covered with these LORs, but I was wondering if I should try to get another one from my Biochem professor (I am in the class right now). Then, I would have 3 science LORs. Would I be able to allocate the letters to different schools in different combos using the new AACOMAS in-app letter service?

Nope. You don't need anymore academic letters. I would get one from a leader of an EC that you worked.

Does the summer research LOR not count as an EC LOR? Do you mean a LOR from a volunteer position?

Oh I mean that will. I mean an LOR from a volunteer position. IMO it helps out having a balanced perception of your application via well rounded LORs.
