So I have a question about LOR's. I just read that having your number on them is better. However, two of my recs were already written before I had my number, and I really don't want to bother my writers further. Will this be okay? Also, one of the letters does not specifically list the classes I took from that Prof., but I noticed at least one school require that in their secondaries. How seriously should I take this?

Your letter writers SHOULD have listed which class they had you in; it's odd that one didn't.

As long as the letter appears on official University Letterhead, is sealed and signed, and your SSN appears in the letter along with your full name, you should be fine.

What number are you referring to that you didn't have before? Your AACOMAS/AMCAS number? If so, you don't need that in there.

My profs don't have my social. Hmm, I think I'll just have to call someone and ask.

If you already submitted the info don't worry about it. Someone will open the letter in the admin office. They need to file everything as hard copies by name to be efficient.

If the names on your LORs match what you listed on your 2ndry then you should be fine. If you decide to use another LOR writer than what you have listed then give them a call.

If this is really bothering you than just call the admin office. You will sleep better at night.
