So I am doing multiple sub-is which is complicating things. So just did IM. I requested a letter and he said yes...however I don't know what specialty I am going for...should I just say IM and have him upload the letter and then change it later if it needs to be geared toward a different specialty? or should I have him upload the letter later, when I know what specialty? or should I have him write a general letter?? Please help. thanks

Say you are interested in IM. Ask him for a letter. If you are not going into IM, then don't use the letter. Not too sure how much an IM letter will help with a different speciality unless that speciality needs a pre-lim then you are still good with this letter

I am also interested in anesthesia so yes a medicine letter would still be helpful...what do you think I should do in this case?
