- Pre-Dental
I have already gathered my LORs and they are on file at my university. But my Pre-Dental committee has this complicated process where they interview you and then your Pre-dental advisor will write you a comprehensive (coverletter/recommendation) that will be placed on top of the other LORs you have. Then the school will send out the LORs as a packet.
My problem arises because I am done with my AADSAS app now and will e-submit anyday now. But the pre-dental LOR packet that my school is preparing will be complete on July 25th (this is standard!!!). I think by the time I request for the LORs to be sent to AADSAS, and after processing, then the dental school will get the LORs sometime in August. I think this is pretty late. Anyone have any ideas on what I can do? I know the dental schools won't consider my app until my LORs are in, so there's almost no point for me to send the AADSAS apps right now since it won't be complete to the dental schools.
Should I just send the individual LORs without the pre-dental advisor coverletter? Or send the individual LORs first then later request the packet (this at least would get the admissions ball rolling). Or does this 1 month not make a difference?
Help!!!
