So I recently asked one of my gen chem professors for a letter of recommendation and she happily agreed. Now what? she is no longer a teacher in my school, so the only thing I can do is email her.

is there a specific letter that I have to send her and she fills out or does she just write a nice letter through email and send it to me?

also for all of my future LOR, what exactly is the process to go about getting the letters after they agreed to write one.

They write you a nice letter- nothing to submit to them. Although it's good to have a discussion with them if they are open to it if there is any information that you would like you to know about them in addition to your experiences in class etc. A couple of my letter writers included some additional information on my behalf.

Process: You enter your professors name, email address in your on-line application. ADDSAS sends them a link that allows them to upload their letter into the application. You get notified when everything is done. Just stay in touch with your letter writers. My anatomy teacher moved to a different university and was still happy to send my letter in.
