nope... the reasoning behind it is that you're giving them that interfolio printout to enclose with their letter. That printout has all your information on it.
The good thing is that this way you can use the letter for the TMDSAS application (which doesn't use the AMCAS #) or you can even use it for employers/lab position, etc...
