I just wanted some thoughts from people who used SMPs to improve their weak LORs. I'm not very confident in my current LORs especially since I have a suspicion that one of my academic referees wrote me a poor letter (don't think he likes me much, but I had no other academic contacts so I had to use his letter). I was wondering if its possible to get all of my LORs after finishing the SMP from the SMP institution or do you always need undergraduate referees when applying for medical schools.
