Hi all,

What would be better to apply with for a pathology residency: 3 pathologist LOR’s + a letter from your Research PI or 3 pathologist LORS + a letter from an IM doc?

I would say research PI if you are applying to big name research institutions for residency. People reading your application will be research oriented folks.
