I just graduated from undergrad last year, but I never really got to know the professors very well (stupid me). I'm taking some pre-reqs at a community college, and was thinking about asking one of my professor to write me a LOR. Any thoughts on that? Do schools care whether I got a LOR from a professor from a community college as opposed to one from my undergrad?

I got mine from Community College. Pick whoever can write you a strong letter. A letter from undergrad is probably better but if no one knows you it probably isn't.

I can't remember what optomcas requires. I had one letter from a CC prof, one from undergrad prof, and a letter from two OD's.

Actually I had the same situation as you. I never got to know my undergraduate college professors that well so eventually I took some classes at community college. I got to know the professor well, and he was the person who wrote the letter of rec for me. That actually helped me cross off the professor lor for me!

I don't think it really matters as long as the person can write a strong lor for you.
