I am required to provide 2 letters from science professors to my school.

These two letters are not going to be my strongest because it was very difficult to get to know my professors at my large university.

Aside from these two letters, I have several strong letters from research PIs, dentists, and lower level instructors.

My question is how many letters can I send in addition to minimum requirement?

Minnesota recommends 2 professors, and 1 employer. But I would like to add additional much stronger letters to my application.

How many letters of recommendation is considered the absolute maximum without causing damage? *(Especially with respect to Minnesota if able to answer).

Thanks for any help!

Dental schools have this information on their school websites. If not, then ask the specific schools.
Many schools only take three: 2 from sci professors and 1 from a dentist. If you want to send in additional LORs, send in with your supplementary application or your letter of interest.

Can someone within the school your applying to (who is a DDS) write the letter from the dentist?

😱 I totally wasn't aware of this. Is that why I'm on waitlist? I don't even have a 3rd LOR from a science professor. I'm done.

LOL I'm not sure. But, since they offered you an interview, I think they probably made an exception.
