If apps open jul 15, when do you guys usually ask your writers? How do you ask them ahead of time if you are only allowed to make an account Jul 15?

same thing with PS, does the question (taken from optomcas.org directly)

The essay for OptomCAS is “Please describe what inspires your decision for becoming an optometrist, including your preparation for training in this profession, your aptitude and motivation, the basis for your interest in optometry, and your future career goals.”

change every year? I know for the first year of optomcas this was the same question word for word, and same for this year. I want to write it early so that I can submit early as well.

I asked my professors to write it like in May (which imo was rather late i should've done it earlier but everything turned out okay) and asked if they could save it somewhere on their computers because the application service would open up on July and i asked them to look out for an email from me and they all said yes which was really nice and then when July came I emailed telling them that they could send the recommendations electronically and once they agreed i then filled out the stuff on optomcas and optomcas immediately sent them an email n done that was it. i said i would've liked to do it earlier just because at one point that was the only reason why i didn't submit my app when i wanted to, because i was missing a recommendation. hope this makes sense n i hope it helps 🙂
