Does anyone know if sending more than the requested amount of LOR's will have any beneficial impact? My school has a pre-professional committee which most schools say they only need one LOR from. I also have my genchem professor writing me one, plus a GP or oral surgeon (probably both). Thanks!

The way it works at my university is, about 4 is required, but you can send up to 7, and the advisor that writes the committee letter will take the best sections of all the LOR's. So no , it wont hurt if its a committee letter, but I would just double check with your specific school.
