So, stupid me. I lost my DAT scores. I just took the DAT (last Saturday) and was foolish enough to place it somewhere in my boyfriend's apartment. Seeing how I can't even see the floor, I doubt I'll find my DAT scores anytime soon. Will they send me a copy of my DAT scores in the mail anyway? Or do I need to give prometric a call? Thanks for your help! I'm such an idiot...aroo... 😳

Prometric will not automatically send you a copy of your scores, you must request one, but I am not too sure about that process

Follow this link and look for the part about Additional Copies of Score Reports.

Additional Copies of Score Reports

When requesting additional official transcripts, candidates must specify their U.S. Social Security number (or Canadian SIN or assigned number), the month and the year when the examination was taken, and include the appropriate fee. Additional transcripts must be requested in writing and require approximately three weeks to be processed. Unofficial transcripts are copies that are sent to the candidate and labeled ?Candidate Copy?. The number of unofficial ?Candidate Copies? that can be ordered is two. A request form for scores is also available here. Click on Dental Professionals, Education and Testing Services. All fees are payable by certified check or money order. NO CASH OR PERSONAL CHECKS WILL BE ACCEPTED. ADA OR ASDA MEMBERS MAY WRITE A PERSONAL CHECK, BUT THEIR MEMBERSHIP NUMBER MUST BE RECORDED ON THE CHECK.

Instead of submitting a written transcript request, DAT candidates may choose to request additional DAT transcripts online. Fees are payable by credit card (Visa or MasterCard).

Your DAT scores will be forwarded by ADA to the schools of your choice. You don't need that paper at all to complete the registration. Just finish the AADSAS application as soon as possible, you still have time.

Good Luck

yeah, but doesn't the aadsas application ask for you to enter your scores? i think prometric will send you an additional copy for a small fee, contact them asap.

It does, you are absolutely right, but only for verification purposes. If you make a mistake, they will correct it. Do you know anyone that does not remember his/hers scores? 🙂

Though there are fields in the AADSAS app for DAT scores, they would be unofficial even coming from AADSAS, so my point is that you can leave those fields blank. The official scores will come from the ADA directly, when you elect to send it to specific schools (during the DAT registration process). So get your AADSAS app in now without those scores!!! Have ADA send you a copy of your DAT for your personal records. It will cost you $10, I think. You'll need to send a money order (not personal check) to ADA...this I know from personal experience!!!

Oh wow...so many replies...feeling a little guilty. 😳

So I found my DAT scores. Somehow they got mixed in with my bf's laundry (How the heck they got in there? I have NO clue).

But thank you for your help! And yes, I sent in my AADSAS application in early June.
