WHEN WHEN WHEN they will start to send out some admissions?????????

I do not know everyone who had applied to Louisville in this cycle.

However, I have not seen anyone who got the admission from Louisville since

December 1st. What is going on????

I know few people got in(from predents.com) but none from NTBC list yet...
I dont know what's going on w/ them...
Everyone says different things & very confused...
I gave up...

any other input?

I hear different things all the time and do not know what to believe. I call and the answers are vague.

I would be happy just to hear anything back from Louisville ... How long does it take to review an application?

I got an email today matter-of-fact, telling me they were no longer actively considering my application... And here I thought absolutely no communication from them since June was a good thing - oh wait, they did cash my supplemental check, and then never said a word to me. Sounds a lot like what Michigan and UNC did too, the nerve.

At least when they cash the check they should send you a letter with a smiley sticking his tongue out at you "nee-ner nee-ner nee-nerrrr"

finally received word ... rejection via email. At least now I know they didnt forget about me!

Sorry about the rejections and if you dont mind me asking did either of ya'll have interviews there?

And yeah meharry did the samething to me, I sent in my check and bam the next day they said Rejected! like they were holding their answer hostage until I paid a ransom for it.

oh well, loooved louisville, too bad its just so darn $$$$$

And louisville also makes you sign a paper that says you will stay out of state for all four years so that you cant get the instate discount. Thats also why they are increasing their out of state spots next year by ~40. More out of state students = more money!

I didnt interview at Louisville

its weird that you were accepted to vcu and rejected from louisville, while i was accepted to louisville but didnt even get an interview from vcu (my state school) 🙁...

That just can't be right. A 16TS/18AA with a 3.4 got 6 interviews?? seriously? I had a 3.6 and high DATs and some of the places that denied me I see taking interviews from much lower scores, befuddling - like Michigan, UNC, Louisville... :wtf:

Oh well, I can't really care too much, I got in where I wanted to, but it's still just wierd. :eyebrow:

I spoke with Dr. Babbage today....and she told me that they sent out the rejections the last couple of days (I noticed a trend on here) so they could focus more on the NTBC list; however, at this point, there is nothing available..And there is not a certain day that we would know by...She told me just to hang on tight...So I am relaying that to you guys!

Was anyone that has been rejected already interviewed? I got an interview Sep. 8 and have been on the NTBC list since Dec.1. I've been calling pretty frequently and, like others have said, I keep getting different answers...

I have spoken to Dr. Babbage several times over the past few months. When I met with her just before Christmas, she told me that usually about half of the residents that are accepted Dec. 1 will decline for UK or other schools (I'm a resident). I also spoke with her on Monday of this week and she said "Nobody, well maybe one person, has been contacted from the NTBC list." I then asked her if any seats were available, to which she replied "No, not right now." Putting all of this together, it sounds like she means that they are not prepared to send any more offers for admission out but that there are some unfilled seats that they need take care of still.

I talked to them today and it sounds as if they are full. She said they would not be doing a second batch and instead just filling spots as they become available.

I was also told a couple of weeks ago that from now on, it's going to be a "trickle-down process." I took that to mean what you said, where offers are made individually instead of as a group, but I still think that there are a good amount of seats open (at least for residents).

I just got an email saying the class is full.....so much for that!

Did you interview at Louisville? And if you applied to Kentucky have you heard back from them?

blackfriesian is a KY resident, so I'm guessing this means that they're full for in-staters. OOS they're probably not full yet. Still, it seems as though the "next to be contacted" is looking more like "not to be contacted."

The email stated that nothing else needed to be done at this time if you were still interested in the school But the class was nearly full but spots may become open before the freshmen matriculate on July 1. And the next list is where the slots will be filled from.

So basically you got an email saying the class was full, but you are still on the NTBC list in case anyone drops out? I'm a resident on the NTBC list and I haven't received any emails recently...

That sucks. Is anyone withdrawing?

I will be withdrawing my application within the next 2-3 weeks. I am just waiting for UBC to confirm my deposit.

Were you accepted/put in a deposit or on the NTBC list? I'm assuming your from out of state.. =)

Sorry I was at work before when I posted and couldn't elaborate.

It basically says that the class is almost full and that they appreciate my interest and I will remain on the NTBC list in case someone decides not to attend there. I could be contacted up until the day classes start.

Basically tells me they are blowing me off...

I was accepted on Dec. 1 and put in my deposit in Jan. And yes I am an OOS.
