You should stay in their recommended places. They will give you a small discount and give you a free shuttle to the airport and the school. That saves a lot of money on taxis. I took a taxi from the airport to the school and it was 15 dollars.

I interviewed there in August. It was an amazing experience. The whole day was planned very well and it was also very organized and informative. The intire staff did a great job of making everyone feel welcomed and important. The interview stated at 10:00 i think, and the first thing that happend was Dr. Currens gave an hour presentation on the school. It was very informative and he is a fun person. There are usually 10 people there at a time. After the presentation you go on a tour of the school and have a financial aid presentation. The students that take you on the tour and eat luch with you might interview you as well.

There are three interviews (one is an exit interview). It was very laid back and fun. I really liked the idea of an exit interview also. It's just a quick interview where a member of the admission committee tells you where you stand.

I really like the school a lot. It was the attitude of the students and staff that made the difference. They are all so friendly and laid back. It's a great program. It's also a great clinical school. Scored 7th on the national boards II.

Good luck to all.

I also interviewed there last month and loved the school. I liked everything about it. Both interviews I had were very laid back - they just want to get to know you. The whole day is very organized and was just like vasco explained. They really go out of their way to make sure you feel welcome and they show a lot of appreciation for taking the time to come.

The city is pretty cool, I will be taking a wife and two kids with me where ever I go and I would have no problems living there. I rented a car and drove around the city to see what it was like. The area around the school is a bit ghetto, not too bad though. One place that was suggested by someone at the school to hang out is called 4th Street Live (i think) right in the downtown area. There is a six flag's magic mountain 5-6 miles from the school. There's also a waterfront on the Ohio River close to downtown.

I also stayed at one of the hotels they suggested, i think the third one on the list. It was within walking distance or they can shuttle you there. PM me if you have any more questions.
