Congrats!!! did u get a 14 on RC? I'm still waiting for Louisville. so worried with my 16 on RC.

no... I got 16 too & it was my 2nd time taking DAT...
But I had 14 on my first time (English is my 2nd language)...
Still, i had 2 interviews last year even though I didn't get in...
Don't worry too much if that's the only 16...
you'll be fine... Good Luck...

How long did it take from the time your app was complete at Louisville until they emailed you about the interview? Mine was complete almost 2 weeks ago, but I haven't heard anything yet.

It was really quick...

I deleted the email so I dont remember exact things but...
They e-mailed me saying that my application is ready to be reviewd about 5 days ago...
And yesterday another email about interview invitation...

FYI, I submitted my AADSAS application on june 15th & took DAT on Aug 2nd...

DAT on July 1
They emailed to say my application was complete a month and a half ago...

Nothing yet, I feel no love 🙁

As a rule of thumb, Louisville adcomms generally care more about interviewee's personality as opposed to just what's on paper, so try to have as much interactions as you with them - it'll definitely help.

I just called Louisville today as I have not yet received that email stating my file is complete, and it turns out that they had everything weeks ago, but failed to mark one of the 2 LOEs I had sent there as a committee letter, so that left my file incomplete! So in reality, my app was complete that whole time! Figures. So, with my stats (click the predents link for them), and now with the not as early app timing, how do I fare? I got the "app complete" email only minutes after she corrected the error. I really hope I hear about an interview soon!

Relax. My application wasn't completed until around this time last year and I was accepted on December 1st. I think you will be alright.

I have a question, I just looked to see if I got an "Application Complete" email from Louisville. I got one on July 23rd. It starts off by saying that my application is complete, and they need nothing more from me. Somehow I must have missed the next part when I read the email back in July, but there was a paragraph that said this:

"Last year, we received approximately 2,721 applications for our 85 positions. Although a decision has not been made about the status of your application, we are unable to interview all the well-qualified applicants. Understand that we will continue considering you for an interview throughout the entire 2009 admissions cycle."

Is this what everybody else got in their email too? It feels like I got put on a "interview wait-list" or something...Is this the same email that everybody got?

Yea it said that in my email as well, and I got an interview so I think it's just their standard wording.

That is also what my email said. Doesn't that just make you feel optimistic though? 🙂Even though I assumed everyone got that email, it still makes you feel like you're on the back burner. They'll get back with us. I'm sure they're swamped with the new D1 class and ~3k applications right now. Good Luck!

The D1 class started more than 2 months ago. Hopefully they are trying to work as fast as they can!
