Hello all,
Trying to buy loupes.

Is Q-optics (sports fit) 3x a good buy for a D1 ?
Any recommendations on a better brand or a better place to buy them from ? I am currently looking to buy from my school store.

Thanks!

MWU uses designs for vision, so I can't comment on the brand, but we all have 3.5x and then I chose to pay the extra for expanded view. Absolutely love the expanded view and think that it was highly worth the extra money. Also make sure that you get a light! We all have the mini wireless LED light from DFV.

Find a really good pair, don't mess around when it comes to your eyes.
You may be just a poor dental student, but when you graduate you'll be a poor dentist with tons of loans. Get yourself a pair of loupes that are comfortable, and that you can see well.
Q-Optics are really light, which is nice. I personally just didn't like the loupes themselves.
ExamVision is actually really good. I like Orascoptic too. I can't comment on DFV or Surgitel because I haven't tried them.

I have Q Optics in 3.0x and they are great! affordable too!

Has anybody complained about the brightness of that light?

look into the lumadent light. I've seen 4000 patients this year using it. hasn't failed yet.
