Anybody really frustrated with the transition? I love working with real patients but the process to get through treatment plans and dealing with the general public makes working on typodont teeth look easy.

I didn't mind classes and life was a little more straight forward back then, but I really do enjoy not having all day classes 🙂

Anybody getting hot patients??? I've had a few already...Even had one mention when we were going through her health history that she had breast implants...I was like uh oh does that mean we pre-med, wait, of course not...But, damn they did look good... 😛

Going by your last couple posts, you're liable to end up in a lot of trouble with your office staff a few years down the road. 😉

I agree. It's so friggin' awesome to be doing preps, endo, crown and bridge, dentures... and no lectures. 😀

I'm loving every minute of it!

You don't have any lecture? We still have 22 hours of lecture!!!! 😡

Not sure how they expect us to graduate if we don't... you know... see patients and stuff.

Yo Mike. I agree. Clinic is tough. Patients can be wacko. You gotta train them and if they can't follow your rules, discharge 'em. There are plenty of patients out there to treat. Hang in there. The adjustment period will soon be over. Funny. I thought 3rd year would be super chill, but it's just as stressful as 2nd year if not moreso.
