Low Freshman Year Calc Scores... helpful advise wanted

I had a poor performance combined with a poor instructor for my calc 1 and 2 courses my freshman year. I got a 2.5 in each. Will this severely effect my chances of getting accepted? I am now a junior with a 3.35 GPA that is increasing each semester, but I am afraid these two classes will hold me back.
Any advise?

im not sure exactly what a 2.5 is, does that mean you got a C in those classes? anyway, it shouldn't hurt you that much. they don't like C's particularly, but as long as you've been showing an upward trend in your GPA, you should be good. i know plenty of people that've gotten into med school with a couple of C's.

i think you should be ok. just don't make getting C's a habit. lol
