I took the DAT about a month ago and really wish I had found this sight sooner it seems like a great place to challenge yourself and learn from others.

I think my scores are alright but am a little worried because my GPA is only a 3.12 and a 3.08 for science. I graduated cum laude and am in the top 15% of my class but my college had a tough grading policy and I am pretty sure that Dental schools don't look at class rank. I just wanted to know what my chances might be for acceptance. My top choices are either Tufts or Univ. of Colorado but I am also applying to Temple, BU, and Creighton. I interned a semester with a dentist, was VP of student Government, spent the last year and a half volunteering in Peru and I speak pretty good spanish. I hope I am not being neurotic but I know how competitive it is and just a wanted a little advice.
Also just to help out a bit. Some good advice for the test and especially the PAT section is to get a lot of excercise and sleep when you are studying and the day before the exam. I found that although it seems silly it can really boost your visualiztion ability. I also made sure to count all the exposed sides of the blocks int he PAT block section before answering any of the questions and also used the pencil trick on the angle ranking by holding my pencil up to one of the sides of the angle. I know most of you probably knew that but figured I'd throw it out there anyway. Also througout the day just look at random objects and try to rotate them 3 dimensionally in your mind, it really helps.
