  1. cGPA: 3.2 and sGPA: 3.00 => should I apply after summer classes when they end in July?
  2. MCAT score(s): 519
  3. State of residence or country of citizenship (if non-US): I prefer not to state, but I will apply to my state schools!
  4. Ethnicity and/or race: African American
  5. Undergraduate institution or category: Public University
  6. Clinical experience (volunteer and non-volunteer):
    1. 100 hr clinical volunteer, 582 scribing, shadowing 13 hrs (had to cancel my shadowing that I had planned)
  7. Research experience and productivity, 700ish (is this too many hours in parallel to my volunteering?), 1 poster
  8. Non-clinical volunteering: 107hrs (just started crisis-text line volunteering)
  9. Other extracurricular activities (including athletics, military service, gap year activities, leadership, teaching, etc): teaching/tutoring underserved students: 400hrs

What summer classes are you planning to take? If they are prerequisites, I would definitely hold off, even consider waiting until next cycle.

How much networking with schools have you done through AMSA or SNMA? Have you been involved in any academic enrichment programs?

Apply to lower and mid tier schools of course. But definitely apply to top 20s as well. High mcat and URM is nothing to sneeze at.

Should I add any DO schools?

I'm not taking any prereqs, but I'm taking science courses for my major. I haven't gotten involved in AMSA/SNMA.
