Hi guys,

This is probably repetitive for most of you guys. I am an upcoming sophomore with a 2.4 GPA. I screwed up big time during my freshman year. I did horribly in all my science classes. I'm retaking a few courses this summer to make it up. I just hope it's not too late to realize it.

You can bounce back and become competitive for allopathic med schools by the time you graduate if you get serious and produce great grades from now on. I figure with stright As, your cGPA could rise to 3.46 after junior year and a competitive 3.6 by the time you finish senior year. If you aim for Do med schools, you'd be competitive with a 3.45.

Right on. So don't give up or anything. It's far from over!
