I planned on taking my DAT in one week, but my practice scores have been very low.

On Bootcamp my average is around 18, and today I took the 2009 exam for Bio/GC and scored low (around 16/15) and I heard this was the most representative of the actual exam.

I have been doing Chads + destroyer + bootcamp. I am not sure what else to do. Should I reschedule my exam? I wanted to take it this month. Maybe I can push it back two more weeks.

Any advice?

You definitely should reschedule your test if your practice scores are low (take it from someone that learned that the hard way). Think about your goal scores for each section. On the practice exams you should be scoring above that before you take your exam (or at least your average of practice exams should be higher). That's how you know you're definitely prepared for it. It's better to give yourself more time to prepare for it so that you are confident rather than taking it at a convenient time. Don't forget that you have a 6-month window to take your exam from the date you paid for it. Give yourself as much time as you need and sacrifice whatever you need to in order to make that happen.

Thanks for the reply! I've decided to reschedule and give myself an extra two weeks. I'm going to go over Destroyer problems again and redo my bootcamp problems.

It will help if you make a quick schedule for what you plan to do or goal you intend to reach each day leading up to your exam and then checking off each item listed. Just a thought. Good luck! 🙂
