Low score, repeat applicant, IMG needing visa, 2013 grad, 4 interviews but will I be ranked?

So, how much does interview matter? People say that if you are invited for an interview, they are definitely interested in you (my interviews were without any contacts/connections, honestly, last year I had 1 interview, this year I have 4, all in the same specialty). Interviews went pretty well, with one program showing significant interest in me, but I am skeptical about ranking. Being a low scorer and a repeat applicant, would I be ranked low regardless of my performance on the interviews? Or in other words: Could a good interview get me ranked high or cover up my red flags?

Sure, but regardless there's nothing more you can do at this point to help yourself. Are you really going to relax anyway even if told yes by enough people?

Yea sort of, I was wondering if some people can give out examples/experiences here, who matched with similar red flags without contacts....

This is exactly the line of thought that it doesn't help to dwell on. You improved your application and/or your application strategy to receive 4 interviews this year as opposed to 1 the previous year, despite having red flags. You did your best during your interviews and have heard back from at least one program. Be encouraged! There is absolutely NO way for you to know where you will fall on any program's rank list, or how far down their rank list a program will need to go in order to fill all of their spots. All you can do now is a) follow up with each program to let them know that you appreciated the opportunity to visit the program and that you would be honored to train there, and b) rank the programs in the order of your preference. Then find a way to relax during this period between submitting your list and getting Match results.

OP, how many threads are you going to create to ask the same basic question over and over again?

You improved your app, you got more interviews, you went on them, you're going to rank them all. That's all you can do.
This.

You definitely have a shot with 4 interviews, and you have a number of impressive aspects of your application that at least mitigate your low scores as much as you can. You're still not going to be at the very top of anyone's rank list. Your guess is as good as mine how far down your programs will have to go to fill.
