Hi All,

I scored 202 on my USMLE Step 1 and 497 on Comlex 1.

I really want to do emergency medicine. Is all hope lost for me?
I took Step 2 and I'm not sure how I did. Will I match somewhere?

no one knows. The NRMP posts data tables on their website which can tell you the average USMLE score for all the specialties. I'm not sure if the osteopathic match does the same.

Even armed with that information matching is not solely based on your licensing exam scores. Factors like your letters, your evaluations, etc. are looked at (albeit many programs will not look at those if your USMLE score isn't up to par).

Bottom line is that no one can tell you whether or not you will match. EM is moderately competitive and your USMLE score is below the average for accepted candidates but there is a lot more to applications than just scores.
