Hello all,
I am pursuing a MPH degree and now has interest on pursuing DPT afterwards. The only down fall is my under gpa is a 2.29. Will having a masters degree increase my chances, getting into a DPT program? 🙁

Although doing well in a masters program will look good, i would say the majority of PT schools have a minimum of 3.0 for both overall gpa and pre-req gpa. For more information regarding specific programs and theyre requirements check out ptcas.org.

What's your GPA for the last 60 semester hours or 90 quarter hours? If over 3.0, maybe consider looking for schools that will take your last 60/90. Like the above poster said, a masters may look good but they generally care about your undergrad.
