To be clear, I plan on taking upper level math classes as part of my postbacc. But, because I didn't take any math as an undergrad and haven't taken math in years (10+), I took algebra I this summer and will do algebra II in the fall. I got an A in the summer, anticipating that I'll get an A for the fall, as well.
I have gotten to know the professor fairly well and I think he could write me a good LOR at the end of the fall since we will have had two semesters together. But, given that it's only algebra, is that too low-level of a math to have an LOR for?
Thoughts?
