Lower vs higher ranking programs? Fellowships?

There is a thread about neuro program rankings, so i was wondering what happens to those who match into neuro into unranked or lower ranked programs? Do they have difficulty getting fellowships after residency (i.e. neurorad, interventional....etc)?

What other differences are there between lower ranked and higher ranked programs? I m guessing research oppurtunities is one.

You sound pretty clueless about neurology subspecialty or neurology in general. Are you still a college student given your obsession with competition and ranking in 2 separate posts?

FYI, neuroradiology is a subspecialty of radiology, and "interventional neurology" is more of a concept than a common neuro subspecialty (except at a very few programs like CCF, etc). Common fellowships are stroke (neurovascular), movement disorder, neuromuscular/neurophys (EEG, EMG), epilepsy, neuroimmunology (MS, etc), sleep disorder, headache, pain, neurocritical care, cognitive/behavior neurology.
