So, I have received the Loyola secondary (August MCATer), but am seriously debating about whether or not I should bother to fill it out. It's extremely long and not to mention that it will just be another $60 that I have to fork out. Does anyone know how far out Loyola already is on their interviews? Because if they're out too far, then I don't think it will be worth it for me to fill it out. Thanks in advance!

if you want to go there, fill it out...but i don't know how good your chances are right now. i have been completed with loyola since pretty much the first day possible (had enough time on my hands to send everything back pretty fast). anyway, i'm still waiting to get reviewed. i called this past thursday and the lady in admissions said that if you haven't heard anything yet, you won't hear anything until after January 1st...so that's for those of us completed even. that's gotta mean they are booked for interviews until January, at least, i'd think. good luck if you apply. loyola is stressful, i've been told, because they can still be interviewing and accepting even good applicants late into the season (like january).

there is no answer to this question. You may or may not be selected for an interview, but certainly the school will continue to review and select interviewees well into the spring. I got my loyola secondary late October ( a august mcater) and sent it in the next day - a lot of cutting and pasting

IMO, you should send it in. Nobody knows how a certain med school will respond to you nor which reviewer will actually evaluate your app. That's why they call this process random. good luck

From what I understand if you have been complete that long they have reviewed you once and did not offer you an initial interview. But they review your files three times and can invite you anytime. When they send you that letter saying you are complete, thats when you are actually being reviewed. They interview till April but some of that might just be for the waitlist I am ot sure. I was complete when the october MCAT came out and they are just reviewing me now. 😳
