I have heard people talking about the LPC and how it is similar to the MSW only it doesn't have the whole case management and government side to it. my question is what r the differences in careers between the lcsw and the lpc? What can you do as an lpc that you Cant do as an lcsw? r the careers more Along the MH line of work? r ur responsibilities more MH oriented? what about private practice? is it harder to get into private practice? how much do LPC's make in private practice and how does it compare to private practice salaries for LCSW's and psychologists? i am asking because i am considering going into either Social work or counseling and i have heard people talk about the lcsw and The benifits of This route but i have yet to hear what the benifits of being ad LPC are? also, how do LPC salaries Compare (in gensera1) To Social worker Salaries? basically what i am looking for is a broad ouerview of counseling and The careers involved with it
