anyone going to LSU Dental school this fall? class of 2009 !!!!!

Why did you choose LSU? Any particular area in which they are superior to the other southeastern schools (UAB, NOVA, etc)? Also, how difficult is it to get in as an out of state applicant?

i chose to apply to LSU b/c i am a louisiana resident. average DAT = 19
average = 3.6

as a matter of fact LSU is very highly respected in clinical education. as for the difficulty of getting accepted as an outer stater its pretty tough. class size is 60. of this 60 51 are louisiana, 4 are from arkansas and 5 from outerstate (other than ark).

I'm from Virginia and currently attending Virginia Tech. I plan on applying to VCU, Maryland, UAB, NOVA, and im considering LSU because I've heard good things about cosmetic dentistry there. I've got a 3.85 GPA and 20/20/19 on the DAT, so hopefully that will be enough to get me a few acceptances.
