Money is not an issue. What is the best school? Reputation? Clinical strength? Location? Etc?

I can't comment on any academic aspect of LSU ... but New Orleans is great. I lived there for a few years, GREAT weather, always something to do (literally, you can always go to the French Quarter any time of the day/night ... any night of the week ... once again, literally). It's pretty cheap cost of living - I had a 3 bedroom house in a decent neighborhood for $695/month

It's going to depend on what you are looking for. LSU and MUSC will be like other state institutions whose goal is to produce clinically sound dentists. MUSC offers a bit more research opportunity and technology, but is one of the most expensive schools in the country. My general dentist graduated from LSU and he said he had a great experience there.
