Hopefully this could help ease AlteredScale's work in moderating this particular forum
As many already know or will soon find out, there are easily a hundred LUCOM threads out there either speaking out against them or asking why all the hate. While most of the objections are due to the UG's science dept being YEC, LU's political activity in general, the statements of Jerry Falwell Jr, or the code of conduct, the bulk of the questions seem to be geared towards whether or not the school is, in and of itself, a good medical school.
Now, I know Goro mentioned in one thread about having current students PM him with issues regarding professors (which I would be interested to hear) and I know I and a couple others have gone to bat for LUCOM in other threads.
In the interest of actually trying to answer specific questions instead of seeing the usual grievances aired in response, I make myself available for PMs* to try to help answer questions, both good and bad.
My credentials? I am part of the second class, currently preparing for step/level 1. I have seen some of what didn't work for the inaugural class and how the faculty has worked to try and address it for our class. I'm not a top-10 student - so I can definitely say what didn't help me prepare for lectures and boards as well as what did.
