Is anybody currently in the program that could tell me a little about it? I was recently accepted and was just curious what the current students think of the program
Thanks!
Thanks!

Did you guys have to interview? I applied in October and received an email saying they couldn't come to a final decision at this time. I'm taking my second physics right now so maybe they're just waiting in my grades but I'm starting to get nervous.
I got accepted there for early decision, what do you guys think of the school and the area? I would really appreciate any and all opinions. How is the living cost in that area?
I also just got accepted to Lynchburg College's DPT program and it is my top choice. I can't speak from a current students perspective but I got to meet a lot of the current students when I visited and they all loved it. The facilities are the nicest I saw out of the 8 schools I went to (even some bigger universities like Central Florida, South Florida and Arkansas State just to name a few). Cadaver lab was the best part about the facilities. The Faculty i spoke with were very friendly and helpful. Also even when I went and visited Central Florida which was my next closest pick the professor asked me where else I was applying and she said she had heard great things about Lynchburg College but didn't say anything else about the others. I was really impressed with them. If you have any specific questions i might be able to help but like I said I'm going to be in the incoming class so I can't speak from a first hand account. Hope that helps.
I was accepted to Lynchburg as well. Does anyone know what their accreditation status is? I know they are pending accreditation, but do they have a timeline for when that may happen? I don't want to attend a program that isn't sure whether they'll be accredited by the time I graduate...
From what I know, CAPTE continually checks in with the school to make sure they are staying on track and if they do find a problem, they are given a certain period to correct it. Then the commission comes back and if everything checks out they continue on. So the students that are at the biggest risk are the first cohorts. If for some reason they do not get full accreditation, then the students can not take the boards bc the school they graduated from was not accredited. Lynchburg graduates their first class this coming May, so since a school cant get accredited until after they graduate the first class, we should know fairly soon after we begin if they have full accreditation or not.
