Some people want to learn OMMAvoid new schools and DO schools if you have the option. Your life will be easier in the short and long run. The deck is stacked against DO students. There are many, many successful DO graduates, but having additional 200 hours of OMM in the curriculum and having to take two sets of board exams just to have the opportunity to be viewed as equal to MD counterparts doesn't appear to be worth the cost. Birmingham is a very diverse area for whatever that is worth. No comments on the rest.
Then those people should go to DO schools or do a residency/fellowship where they're trained to do it.Some people want to learn OMM
