M1 Starts on Monday! Who else?

daymn!!!!! we start orientation the week after, but am psyched too!!! hey congrats and good luck!!
 
Started this week. It's been great. It still hasn't hit me that I'm in my first week of medical school!

We don't start until August 29th (UW). Classes don't begin until September 6th. I'll cram lots of fun time in between now and then, but THEN, we have ALL of Anatomy and Embryology as a block class in less than five weeks. 😱 I'm soaking it up while I can. 🙂

All of anatomy in 5 weeks? What the crap? That sounds insane. We did anatomy 2 days a week through the entire fall semester, and even then it felt like the material was just being flung at us at warp speed. I can't imagine having to do anatomy 8 hours a day, 5 days a week for 5 weeks while having to study after that. I know on those days when we had 4 hours of anatomy lecture followed by about 5 hours of disection, that night I would spend like 30 minutes reading the next day's histology lecture and then just be like "blaahhhhh, no more, time for TV".

I arrived here in AA a couple days ago. Trying to get settled in and do all the moving in crap before orientation on Monday. Today: Get a bank, finish unpacking.

It still hasn't really hit me that I'm starting on Monday. Wow
 
I also start on Monday and I am moving on Saturday....ahh the summer is over too fast.
 
Orientation starts Monday, classes start the 8th. I am packing up my apartment in NC today and headed to NY tomorrow!!!

Well, we will be in class 8 hours per day, but only FOUR days a week. 🙂 Also, we do head and neck the following term, so at least we don't have all of the neuroanatomy to deal with. Still, I'm trying to have as much fun as I can right now becuase the first month is going to be insane.

Orientation is over. 😱 . We start Monday, August 1st (which seems like a popular starting day for med schools).
 
We start Orientation on the 4th....classes on the 10th. 🙂

Orientation 8th to the 12th, Medicine & Society starts on the 11th. Gross Anatomy starts on the 19th, then full schedule starting the 22nd. Guess they want to ease us in 😉.

Wow, I had no idea there were that many schools starting this early. We start orientation August 15 and classes start August 22.
 
Orientation was last week, today was my white coat ceremony, and I have anatomy at 8am Monday! Time to get my study on!!!
 
Orientation starts in less than 8 hours....and I totally can't sleep
 
I start next monday. Aug 8th. I'm not siked. Just another 2 more years of studying. Why would we? I'm just going to be siked bout 3rd year. that's it.
